This is a blog post that I was extremely excited about before it even has a chance to happen. I was already thinking of creating this post before I even started a new blog and before I actually even ordered these kitkats, lol. However, this is also a blog post that is extremely delayed and is almost about to lose its purpose. I am only posting this now because I didn’t want to waste it. This was drafted a year and 3mos ago(!!!!!), at the height of these Japanese KitKats’ outburst of fame, and has been sitting there far too long - even before the actual launch of this blog!
Roughly 10-12k PhP in total for just those seen above. The thing is, I am a serial bandwagon-er and I always jump into the bandwagon. Also, I like to pay for experiences and food rather than material things. So naturally, I could not stop myself from being the ultimate consumer to this unreasonable KitKats. Those in gift boxes (I only own 1, the other 2 are for my friends) on the bottom of the photo are the really expensive ones. I reckon that they are roughly PhP100 per piece which absolutely threw me off but when they started saying stuff like “These are rare flavors from different regions in Japan” and “You won’t be able to find these easily anymore”, it was as good as sold. The ones in boxes and packs are straight from Japan and are relatively cheaper because they were the more common flavors but still too expensive if you really think about it because they are just SO miniature. Anyhow, these aren’t really all mine because I sold probably 1/4 of these and got a good price too so I like to think I only paid a portion for what many KitKats I enjoyed.
They are so much much much cheaper now though because the hype has gone down already. You can also pretty much find the more common flavors being sold by plenty of shops now.
I intend to fully immortalize the experience through this blog post. Above are the 23 flavors I managed to collect all at once (I realized while going on with my tasting that I actually only have 22 flavors because the Uji Matcha and the Green Tea are the same, lol). Here comes the part where you start to realize that the experience is worth the price. Okay, maybe not really, just a little. This is really lengthy so I’m cutting off now. Here’s another light #OOTD for semi-cold weather. Photos taken from around The Manor in Baguio.
It’s cold enough for a thick Cardigan but not too cold so I wore shorts to balance it out. I don’t normally wear this pair of shorts on normal days because the make is leather and they make…
My initial choice for birthday lunch… Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen, lol. I’ve been meaning to go for a while now but my lack of enthusiasm for Asian food (let alone noodles!) has been successful in steering me away [as proven on this post]. M and I were back in BGC the following day though…
My 2nd attempt to an #ootd post… after about 4 months, lol. As I have stressed out time and again, this is merely a humble personal blog so hold your horses (don’t like how I always have to explain that). Check out my really sad 1st attempt on fashion blogging here.
These photos were…
“Vasing" is a new word [verb] that I made up just now. Because I can.
Thanks to M for these pretties!
Most of these are gifts (yay, thanks!) because I’ve sworn off shopping for new stuff this time since something big is waiting to happen and hoarding new stuff just won’t make any sense but I’ve made two trips to the city this month (and stayed for days) and buying stuff has proven to be simply…
12 things you should know about the Aquarius sign
Did you these 12 things about the Aquarius sign? Is #1 you?
From my most recent trip to the city (kind of a Probinsyana here, lol) with Martin for our 6th year Anniversary. These are stuff I would SO totally not buy if not for Martin’s constant nagging and bad influence.
I bought the Camouflage cutout dress to match M’s new…
Now here’s my really sad attempt on DIY blogging. I’m going to be on a roll on my sad attempts haha. Here’s something I’ve done around 2-3 months ago for the summer season and I’m posting it now because I have nothing to post, I have these photos, and I just feel like I should put something up.
This one’s real easy but not at all quick to make. Tutorials are not necessarily needed because it’s all instinct and creativity. I actually just made these out of the blue. I found some fake flowers in my house and decided to make flower crowns.
