Finally got myself a pair of lace up boots (Christmas present from M - thanks :*)! It’s so pretty, only problem is that my calf is too fat so it doesn’t look that good with my legs. Huhuhu ;_; how do I make my legs thinner? Help!

I was going to make a book review for this series but to be honest, it’s too riveting I can’t even think of words for it anymore (and to think that I am known for making long posts and always using a lot of words, as seen in most of my blog posts). This is just beyond awesome. So, I’m just gonna rate each book by stars and voice some of my thoughts.
The Hunger Games (★★★★★)
RIVETING! I can only think of that word for this book. I can’t put it down the moment I started reading it specially when The Hunger Games begun and they were fighting for their lives. Action-packed and speed jarring indeed! Even when I put it down I couldn’t not think of it. The story was neatly placed and it isn’t hard to imagine nor understand. Great, just great. And my heart went out to almost every character who each had redeeming qualities.
Catching Fire (★★★☆☆)
Still great but not as great as the first book. The Quarter Quell wasn’t as riveting as the 74th Hunger Games. There is less action and suspense which made it a slow and heavy read for me. In fact, there really wasn’t much to excite me here. It just served it’s sole purpose - to bridge the 1st and 3rd book. Although, it’s still great! And the new characters are still just as endearing.
Mockingjay (★★★☆☆)
I’m not really sure how I feel about this book. Everything was just too fast and there we’re so many things happening yet it lacked proper story telling, which I genuinely appreciate in books that I read since I am all for details. But since I also like to look at it as a whole, the plot is just as awesome as the first and second books - props to that!
Despite the series being great, I’m always one for complaining about endings so that’s what I’ll do now. This is going to spoil those who haven’t read it yet so continue at your own risk. Why didn’t they actually torture Snow to death?! Isn’t it the whole point of the books? Why did Finnick have to die? They build up this little love story about him and mad girl Annie only to break it anyway. Why does it seem to me that the heroine of the story is absolutely clueless and she shouldn’t get all the credit since everyone else around her practically did everything anyway? Why did they have to kill Prim? It’s not relevant to the story. Why didn’t Katniss and her mother stay together in the ending, whatever happened to family? And why is the ending so sappy?! I mean, whatever happened to Gale? He got a nice job and all that so he just disappeared? He’s supposed to be in love with Katniss remember? Oh and don’t even get me started on Peeta and Katniss’ happy ever after that didn’t make that much sense at all!
General Review (★★★★☆)
This is easily the most riveting book I’ve ever read (lol I keep saying that). I’m not a fan of Sci-Fi books but I would totally make an exemption for this. My imagination went wild from all the adventure that is this trilogy. Moreso, I admire Collins for having so much heart in all the books. I was drawn emotionally and felt for almost all the characters. As for the boy I ship for Katniss, I’m team Gale because he was with her first (technically) and well, he’s smoldering and good looking (it says so in the book!) LOL. It’s a close fight between him and Peeta, though. I mean, who wasn’t touched by the boy with the bread anyway?
A definite must-read!

I agree with a lot of things in here
