Sooooo… I’ve decided I’m too lazy to tell you about my life and recent trips but I can SO make time to blog about my picks on the plethora of hot guys in the World Cup! #Priorities lol. I don’t even do sports at all nor do I have any interest whatsoever thereof but I am literally OBSESSED with…
This is a blog post that I was extremely excited about before it even has a chance to happen. I was already thinking of creating this post before I even started a new blog and before I actually even ordered these kitkats, lol. However, this is also a blog post that is extremely delayed and is almost about to lose its purpose. I am only posting this now because I didn’t want to waste it. This was drafted a year and 3mos ago(!!!!!), at the height of these Japanese KitKats’ outburst of fame, and has been sitting there far too long - even before the actual launch of this blog!
Roughly 10-12k PhP in total for just those seen above. The thing is, I am a serial bandwagon-er and I always jump into the bandwagon. Also, I like to pay for experiences and food rather than material things. So naturally, I could not stop myself from being the ultimate consumer to this unreasonable KitKats. Those in gift boxes (I only own 1, the other 2 are for my friends) on the bottom of the photo are the really expensive ones. I reckon that they are roughly PhP100 per piece which absolutely threw me off but when they started saying stuff like “These are rare flavors from different regions in Japan” and “You won’t be able to find these easily anymore”, it was as good as sold. The ones in boxes and packs are straight from Japan and are relatively cheaper because they were the more common flavors but still too expensive if you really think about it because they are just SO miniature. Anyhow, these aren’t really all mine because I sold probably 1/4 of these and got a good price too so I like to think I only paid a portion for what many KitKats I enjoyed.
They are so much much much cheaper now though because the hype has gone down already. You can also pretty much find the more common flavors being sold by plenty of shops now.
I intend to fully immortalize the experience through this blog post. Above are the 23 flavors I managed to collect all at once (I realized while going on with my tasting that I actually only have 22 flavors because the Uji Matcha and the Green Tea are the same, lol). Here comes the part where you start to realize that the experience is worth the price. Okay, maybe not really, just a little. This is really lengthy so I’m cutting off now.
